Hardwood. Hardwood flooring should, with a little care, last you a lifetime. However, all natural woods expand with temperature and humidity, causing your floor to warp or twist. Therefore, timber floors have not been a viable option for conservatory flooring, especially in South facing conservatories. Engineered hardwood flooring now eliminates this problem by using a central core at right angles to surrounding layers of wood. This eliminates movement and ensures your wood floor lasts for decades.

Tiles and Natural Stone. Our showroom has some of the best ceramic tiles from around the world and we display our tiles in different settings, so you can see how they look in the right context. All our tile displays are carefully planned and arranged to help you make an informed choice. We have tiles to suit every type of interior, from the simple to the elaborate, and our collection also includes a range of natural stone for that added 'wow' factor.

There are two systems available - wet and electric.

The wet system involves setting pipes in to the floor and the circulation of warm water from your existing central heating radiator circuit. Electric under floor heating is installed on top of an insulation layer and directly below the floor covering.

Electric under floor heating is operationally more flexible than water based heating systems. During the summer months, water heating is normally switched off, but the Ebeco system can maintain the temperature of selected areas all year around. The water pipes in a typical water based floor heating system are over twice the diameter of heating cables and have to be installed much deeper in the floor. This results in a ”slower responding” system. Electric floor heating is however normally installed close to the floor surface which means that the air in the room warms up more rapidly, whilst the energy consumption is reduced. Furthermore electric under floor heating is a ”no maintenance” system and is considerably easier and cheaper to install and can never leak!
